'This collection has happened organically, I began with painting a small Alfred Sisley to go into a vacant frame which I had to hang on my wall at home.
I felt that I learnt so much painting that picture that I had soon painted a second, this time a Monet.
I began to acquire antique picture frames, and chose paintings I admired which I thought would suit the frames. Painting them makes you look and study the artist in a way you never would from a book, so I have found it both informative and very enjoyable, and I feel produces some beautiful end results.'
